Greystone GT drivers Mike Price and Callum Macleod enjoyed one of their strongest British GT Championship race performances of 2024 as the series visited the iconic Circuit Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium, last weekend. And with Steve Gray making his International GT Open debut alongside Stewart Proctor, it proved a busy weekend for the team from Silverstone.

Greystone GT picked up where they left off at the end of 2023 as the Silverstone-based organisation began the defence of their McLaren Trophy Europe Teams’ title with a double win at the Misano season-opener. Newcomer Ryan James and long-time Greystone GT professional racer Oli Webb were in a class of their own in Italy while Ron Trenka and Duncan Tappy also showed their mettle in a hard-fought pair of races.

It was a case of ‘what might have been’ for Greystone GT as the International GT Open moved on to the Hockenheimring in Germany as outside factors denied Lewis and Stewart Proctor the result they richly deserved. Following on from a superb Pro-Am pole position at the Portimao season-opener, Lewis Proctor was again chosen for Sunday morning qualifying duties aboard the #66 Prosource McLaren 720S GT3 and was a promising third in class and sixth overall.

Lewis Proctor and Oli Webb gave Greystone a GT Pro-Am pole position and a fastest lap as the International GT Open season kicked off at Portimao, while the team were also in action in the British GT Championship’s longest race, the Silverstone 500.
