Greystone GT scored their best Pro-Am result of the GT4 European Series with a top-five finish for Tim Whale and Adam Carroll at Hockenheim, Germany, last weekend. The Silverstone-based team and their GETTRX McLaren 570S GT4 achieved the result after turning what looked set to be a challenging event after free practice into an extremely strong one that re-enforced their credentials as one of the UK’s leading GT racing teams.

Greystone GT turned in one of the most heroic performances of the GT4 European Series at Spa-Francorchamps last weekend to rescue more valuable championship points from a near-impossible situation. Drivers Tim Whale and Adam Carroll gained an astonishing 29 places in the first of two races in Belgium aboard their GETTRX McLaren 570S GT4, but were denied an even better finish the following day after becoming involved in a multi-car incident.

Greystone GT duo Mark Hopton and Euan Hankey claimed their second GT Cup victory of the year with a perfectly-judged performance in the first of two 50-minute Pitstop Races at Silverstone during the weekend. Having started strongly from fourth on the grid, Derby racer handed over to his professional co-driver Euan, who chased down the cars ahead of him over the final 20 minutes and secured the win.

Greystone GT scored a fourth podium finish from five British GT Championship events with a storming performance from Lewis and Stewart Proctor at the iconic Circuit Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium on Sunday. An heroic stint from Stewart – who was suffering from a heavy bout of overnight food poisoning – and another impressive drive by Lewis promoted the Aberdeen-based father-and-son pair to second place in the series’ Silver-Am standings with two races to go.
