Greystone GT are delighted to announce Ron Trenka and Jon Lancaster as the first confirmed pairing for the all-new McLaren Trophy in 2023. The Anglo-American duo will compete in the top class of the five-round, Europe-wide series in a brand-new Artura race car run by the Silverstone-based team as part of a planned multi-car line-up in the series.

Greystone GT enjoyed a superb end to both the British GT Championship and the International GT Open with a landmark set of results last weekend. After Fran Rueda scored the team’s maiden GT3 pole position at Barcelona, it was the turn of Andrey Borodin and Ed Pead to claimed a first Silver-Am podium finish at Donington Park 24 hours later to round off a magnificent weekend of racing.

Three excellent podium finishes at Snetterton sealed Greystone GT’s highest-ever championship finish in the GT Cup as the curtain fell on the 2022 season. An inspired drive in the weekend’s opening race by Mark Hopton in the GTH class plus additional top-three results by Iain Campbell in GT3 and in Saturday’s Pitstop Race by Phillip Carter and Michael Broadhurst provided a strong end to the campaign.

Greystone GT will finish the British GT Championship season with a revised driver line-up at Donington Park next weekend as Le Mans 24 Hours winner Warren Hughes joins the team to partner Stewart Proctor. The arrival of the 2012 British GT GT4 champion alongside last year’s GT3 Silver-Am title winner Stewart ensures that the Prosource-supported McLaren 720S GT3 will continue to run in the Silver-Am class in the two-hour race on October 15-16.

Greystone GT’s maiden GT4 European Series campaign finished with a points finish in supremely-frustrating season finale at Barcelona. The Silverstone-based team’s pair of McLaren 570S GT4s were afforded just two full racing laps during the hour-long race last Sunday as repeated incidents through the field led to a catalogue of safety-car and Full-Course Caution periods in Spain.
