We are looking forward to welcoming you all at Round 5 of the GT Cup at Silverstone Circuit.

ABOUT THE GT GUP
The GT Cup is a national-level GT racing series in the UK. Featuring high-performance racing variants of recognisable brands such as McLaren, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, it provides exciting racing with 7 events at the UK’s most renowned circuits every year. Silverstone is the fifth round of the 2024 GT Cup.
Each Round consists of 4 races held over Saturday & Sunday, with two races per day. Please note that our team, Greystone GT, will only participate in the first of the two races on Sunday which starts at 13:25 and finishes at 14:15 (50 minutes duration), so you will want to arrive in good time to catch the start of the race.
In this event our team has entered one car, a McLaren 720S GT3.

ABOUT GREYSTONE GT
Greystone GT was created in 2016 by single-seater racing champion and former Business Manager of McLaren GT, Mark McLoughlin.
Drawing experience from decades of success in the highest levels of GT motorsport, our team of engineers and support staff has, since 2021, competed and won in some of the most prestigious GT series in the UK and Europe.
The 2023 season was our best to date, with multiple wins and podiums in championships across the UK and Europe showing the growth of the team on a national and international level. A maiden campaign in the ultra-competitive International GT Open culminated in pole position and a podium finish at the final round, laying the foundations for a full title assault in 2024. Our British GT programme, where the team operated two full-season GT3 entries, goes from strength to strength and the UK GT Cup continued to produce wins for the Silverstone-based team.
Our first international Championship title was achieved in 2023 with Greystone GT taking the Teams’ Championship of the inaugural McLaren Trophy, a fitting result for McLaren’s largest Customer Racing team.

GT racing is open to cars from a range of manufacturers. Our team specialises in racing with McLaren race cars however, amongst the 21 race cars that we manage and operate from our Silverstone HQ, we also have one Ferrari 458 GT3, one Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo, and two Mercedes AMG GT3 cars.

Summary / Advice
Track activity starts at 09:00, however the first part of the day is mainly practice and qualifying. You are welcome to come as early as you like, but the racing is more interesting to watch than practice and qualifying
Our team is racing in the GT Cup, but there is more than just GT Cup at Silverstone on Sunday. As you will see, there are also races for GB3 and GB4 Championships, as well as the Radical Cup UK. Racing starts at 10:10 and continues throughout the day
Our race (GT Cup) starts at 13:25. Our advice would be to arrive around midday for lunch and then watch the race

Please call me (Mark) on 07841 623802 and I will come to meet you at the gate with your passes. Please aim to arrive no later than 13:00, otherwise I might not be able to meet you at the gate, in which case I will find an alternative way to hand over your passes.
